love and faith

Walking down the aisle, June asks herself, whether she has chosen the right path or whether she will be swinging forever between what she desired to have and what she has received. Her father accompanied her and they both proceed towards the stand of bishop. She was looking like beautiful flake of snow that has engulfed whole whiteness of the season and her hair were tied in a bun and there rest a beautiful piece of hair pin, made of ivory and blue crystals, what a fine masterpiece, crafted all by her mother, Lina, a perfectionist in making jewellery. Back of her dress was all lacy and her beautifully toned body was supporting the attire very well. Relatives and other visitors present in the ceremony were in awe after having a glance of her.
As she raised her eyes to have full look of the arrangements that Roy, her future husband, has made, she was thrived to see such a vintage look that he has given to the place. It was beautiful day of spring, Greenery was all over the place, as she always dreamed of, and white calla Lilies were used to decorate the poles. Benches like old logs were placed for visitors as seating arrangements. Sidelines of the aisle were covered with white carnations. Everyone loved the place and so did she.
All these things were adorable and they diverted her mind for a second but again nervousness flooded her. She held her father’s hand more firmly and her father was able to sense her feelings. He calmly told her “everything is perfect just like you and Roy and I know that you will do well in this phase of life as well.” She smiled and her smile assured her father that he was right about it. She wanted to believe in what her father told her but that was not happening.
As she took the turn towards the deck and she saw Roy standing there. He was looking daper in his steel grey tuxedo. In normal days, he was true to his business and put forward more of his formal look. But today, he was standing there being as a lover who is fond of her girl and nothing in world can take her away from him. As he saw her, he was overwhelmed and was feeling proud to have her as partner. She can see his desperation right from his shiny brown eyes. She was feeling all her strength coming back. Her father gave her hand to Roy. Roy held her hand and she felt secure. Rituals got started and they got married in beautiful manner. Everyone enjoyed the moments with newly wedded couple.
After twenty five years, sitting in the chair, June was reliving those moments and watching the photo album. She was noticing difference in her and Roy’s appearance as well. Wrinkles have covered their faces and brightness was gone. That wedding ring has lost its shine as well but still it was giving beautiful look to her hands and their relation. Now sitting back and thinking of that time, anything that she managed to remember was the two enchanting words “I DO”.

Roy came behind her and caught her between her arms and asked, “YOU DO?” and she replied “I WILL AND WILL ALWAYS DO”.

  1. This was a cute little thing... like it could be the opener to a much larger story.
Add a bit different sentence starters, and there are grammatical things like adding an article to "Back"; "appearance" at the end should be plural.
Also focus on being descriptive, without being wordy.
    Looking forward to more!
